Keesha Sharp
Tyler Perry's movie Why Did I Get Married includes her. with Janet Jackson and Tyler Perry as well as Janet Jackson, as well as in the forthcoming independent films Frozen Peas and Born Guilty. The other films she has appeared in comprise The 636, for which she took home the award for best Actress at the 2015 NYLA International Film Festival, Shattered!, Never Die Alone alongside Janet Jackson and Perry. She also appeared in American Adobo. Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Keesha when she graduated. Keesha began her journey as a stage actress after completing her studies at the Cum Laude Conservatory with a B.F.A. She was a part of The Broadway National Tour of Carousel and made her debut Off Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. She also played eight roles in the interactive comedic Eat the Runt. Other theatrical performances are Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha read along with playwright August Wilson himself. The work of Keesha includes directing episodes of "Lethal Weapon", Are We There Yet?" and short films One Day Lillian and Half Off. Keesha is co-creator of Clean, The Brit & Broken Doll and is currently working on several new original projects currently in the making. Keesha is currently working on an album full-length to show off her voice after her success with "Santa Baby".
