Shailene woodley is an iconic American activist and actor. Her popularity was boosted by her character Alexandra "Alex" King, the teen who is struggling with addiction issues, as seen in The Descendants. In addition to the praised performance she delivered in The Descendants, Shailene has performed several roles which showed her ability to play tough characters easily. Shailene is able to achieve a prominent position in the industry in her early years and is a remarkable achievement. Beginning her career with appearances in television shows and commercials, she went on to play prominent roles in Hollywood film.
