Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn is an American film television and theatre actress. She has been a professional actor for the past 27 years. Her career began in the year 1990 with an Off-Broadway performance in The Big Funk, by John Patrick Shanley. In The Perfect Tribute, she played her first role in a TV show a year after. In 1992, she was cast as an actor supporting the character the movie Basic Instinct. This marked her first major success in her career. In addition to being one of the youngest American Junior Golf Association, (AJGA) winner of the championship that year and also being the youngest player to be awarded the Westfield Junior PGA Championship.
