Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell is an American actor. Born on March 27, 1970, she is 5'9" tall. Her characters include Dr. Juliet Burke in ABC's Lost TV series and FBI Agent Erica Evans in V. The Escape Clause as well as Gia. Mitchell co-stars with Eric Kripke in the television series Revolution on NBC. Mitchell's stepfather Joseph Day Mitchell and mother Josephine Marian Mitchell (nee Jenkins) are lawyers based in Dallas. Mitchell and her mom moved into Dallas Texas, where she was married Joseph Mitchell. Mitchell is a graduate of Booker T. She is currently known for her role as Emily Prentiss, Special Agent on CBS' crime drama Criminal Minds. As per a June 10, 2010 article, her character on Criminal Minds will be diminished during the 6th season. In March 2011 Brewster's character quit the show but could be back at a later time.
